From my perspective, I have a different take on our origins and about Cain and Lilith. It is doubtful that you will read this in such detail anywhere else but here, unless you are a member of the Silken Shadows Community as I posted it there also. However, parts of it may be familiar to you. Some of this story is from my own past life regression experiences, some was gathered from the Akashic records, some was granted me via a mind-link with another vampire years ago who also had past life experience of the same time period, some is from my learning of angelology/demonology and some of it ties various myths together cohesively- legends from religions etc.

I only ask that you open your mind to a new perspective, meditate on what is being said here and sense whether it makes sense to you.

Lilith was not her first name nor was she a witch or even a human. Names are according to job/task. First rank she had was as a 12 winged seraphim as she is Lucifer's twin and- eventually- lover. She was also the first to side with Lucifer when he questioned the creator "gods" . That was all it took to cast him out of the higher courts of the Light along with his twin and anyone else who stood up for themselves. Eventually, she went down the ranks with different jobs until she had been Haniel (angel presiding over human sexuality). Lucifer left altogether and formed his own armies and allies and realms. (Seraphim are capable of creating and destroying spiritual realms.)

Then, the creator "gods" decided to use Haniel in an experiment to mate with Adam.  It failed as she like so many rebel angels was not interested in being subservient to a human "thing". She then took on a Fallen Name which is not Lilith but which is hidden to most. She flew off into the desert and mated with several of the Fallen Ones just from spite. Thousands of demon children were conceived.. but they were merely lower ranking demons as a result.

Eventually she mated with Ashmodai/Asmodeus (a higher ranking Fallen One) and the produced Sariel. After mating with Lucifer, there were higher ranking Fallen Daughters (all lower "liliths" as they take on the name "Lilith" as a surname). These included Mahalath, Naamah, Igrat, etc.  Some became demon queens. Lilith herself became Demon Queen of the North Dark Watchtower. Realms were created for her by Lucifer close to his realms, including her home palace realm of Zemargad, and three others.

One evening, Lilith was traveling about the desert in the realms closest to physical reality. There she saw Cain. He was different than Adam- fascinating and dark. He had blood on his hands, so to speak. In the shadows, she took on physical form- manifesting - and walked over to the Cain who was sitting on a large rock and feeling sorry for himself. She made sure his eyes met hers. He was transfixed. They made love. He began to change as their spirits intertwined in the ecstasy. She had not been expecting this change, but she could feel it and so could he. This was the first time she had mated with a human.

After the initial union between Cain and Lilith, they were spiritually "one". His humanity was affecting her and her angelic nature was affecting him. His dark nature became more powerful and his blood lust became a need to feed. Her spiritual need for him was getting stronger. Their children were vampires, some needing Energy from Chi only, some from blood and others from both Energy sources.

In the meantime,  some other higher ranking Fallen Ones had formed an underworld Council to rival the High Council of the Light. Cain and Lilith had been meeting in secret but they couldn't keep it secret for long because their children were obviously not typical humans and Lilith was absent from Zemargad far too often. Asmodeus and Lucifer were also jealous as they all wanted Lilith. The Council hunted them down one night. They and some of their soldiers surrounded the couple.

Lilith was accused of betraying her kind by mating with a human. Cain was accursed for being a vampire. It was decided that they would be forcibly separated. A spiritual realm was created which was like a vast desert where the sun scorched hot. A great stone building was manifested wherein there was a meeting place, but also a crypt. Both Lilith and Cain were grabbed and "blinked" into the middle of this desert realm. Cain was torn away from Lilith and locked up in the crypt. A great seal was placed upon it- the same seal which was on the front cover of a book created by the Council containing this history. This seal could only be broken with powerful Magics.

Some vampires of this present era are afraid that Cain will escape and destroy the entire vampire race, when in fact he is only bent on warring with the ones who put him away in the first place and anyone who would side with them.

Lilith managed to find her way back to that realm and to the crypt but could not open it.

Lilith in her great sadness decided to take on human form. She would reincarnate a few times over the millenia and someday somehow find a way to use Magics to release Cain. And so she did.. during a lifetime wherein like all other of her lifetimes she had become a vampire due to the power of her angelic self in a human body combined with her union with Cain which still lives on to this day. One day she will find him in human form.

Like Lilith, other angelics/ demons have taken on human form. We all await the great war. Many of us become vampires although for some reason, not all vampires are angelics/demons... Perhaps they had taken on too many human forms, becoming weaker each time and yet still more spiritually powerful than most mundanes.

What is this great war I speak of? Well, that is complicated... and far too much to be posting here. .
